Botox Cosmetics is a purified protein administered in a simple nonsurgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. There are a number of areas that can be treated with botox including the frown lines in between the eyes called the glabellar complex, crows feet or the fine lines around the eyes, the upper forehead, the frown lines and the neck lines.

The results are apparent within 3-10 days after treatment and last from 3—4 months.

Side effects include minor bruising, occasional discomfort, headache, flu syndrome, temporary eyelid droop and nausea.

Botox has been used for over 15 years to treat a variety of conditions.
